Wednesday, June 07, 2006Bangalore ponaalum Haripi vidadhu ...Dear Haripi, am so sorry to write about you again and again. This is too tempting. Every one of us would have heard of the saying "Kaasiku ponaalum karmam vidadhu". My case is "Bangalore ku ponaalum Haripi vidadhu" Read more ... This happened sometime around 25th May. Haripi had joined work on 22nd and I was eager to know how his training was happening. Around noon, I sent a message asking how his induction was. He called me around 6 in the evening. Me: Hi da!! He: Who is this? Me: Dei ... He: I got a message from this number ... Me: VK da He: (He never listened to what I said) Are you calling from Airtel? Me: What !!! He: Are you calling from Airtel ? Me: O*** naanVK pesaren He: Ohh Appadiyaa, i thought this was from Airtel. I couldnt control my laughter ... Me: Why should Airtel message you ? And why should Airtel be bothered about your induction ? He gave me some funny explanation. Me: Seri, tell me now ... How is your induction ? As soon as I asked this, he hit an orgasm and started talking about the technological park where his company was, about the cost of land there for some 5 mins. He: Maama, ECR road is developing like crazy da. Me: Oho.. He: Ammam, same with old mahabalipuram road. Me: Ok.. He: So many IT companies da .. awesome for Chennai. Since Bangalore cant expand anymore companies are looking at Chennai da .. Infrastructure wise it is among the best. Me: Hmmmm.. He: Maama, Old Mahabalipuram road ... In next 5 years, Old Mahabalipuram Rd is going to be the Information Highway of India. Me: Ok Haripi ... naama nalaiku pesalaam And I disconnected the fone. He never answered How the induction was till the very end.
