This happened sometime around 25th May. Haripi had joined work on 22nd and I was eager to know how his training was happening. Around noon, I sent a message asking how his induction was. He called me around 6 in the evening.

Me: Hi da!!
He: Who is this?
Me: Dei ...
He: I got a message from this number ...
Me: VK da
He: (He never listened to what I said) Are you calling from Airtel?
Me: What !!!
He: Are you calling from Airtel ?
Me: O*** naanVK pesaren
He: Ohh Appadiyaa, i thought this was from Airtel.

I couldnt control my laughter ...

Me: Why should Airtel message you ? And why should Airtel be bothered about your induction ?

He gave me some funny explanation.

Me: Seri, tell me now ... How is your induction ?

As soon as I asked this, he hit an orgasm and started talking about the technological park where his company was, about the cost of land there for some 5 mins.

He: Maama, ECR road is developing like crazy da.
Me: Oho..
He: Ammam, same with old mahabalipuram road.
Me: Ok..
He: So many IT companies da .. awesome for Chennai. Since Bangalore cant expand anymore companies are looking at Chennai da .. Infrastructure wise it is among the best.
Me: Hmmmm..
He: Maama, Old Mahabalipuram road ... In next 5 years, Old Mahabalipuram Rd is going to be the Information Highway of India.
Me: Ok Haripi ... naama nalaiku pesalaam

And I disconnected the fone.

He never answered How the induction was till the very end.
